Algebra I
- Grades 9-12
- Length of Course: 1 year
- Prerequisites: Math placement test
Students will become acquainted with extended algebraic operations using integers, fractions, decimals, and percentages. They will use Algebraic logic at a more fluent level than that of Pre Algebra.
Geometry
- Grades 9-12
- Length of Course: 1 year
- Prerequisites: Algebra I
This course involves inductive and deductive reasoning, use of number lines and the coordinate plane, angles, parallel lines and transversals, triangles, theorems and postulates, inequalities, quadrilaterals, proportions and similarities, polygons and area, circles, surface area and volume, right triangles, introduction to trigonometry and circle relationships.
Algebra II
- Grades 9-12
- Length of Course: 1 year
- Prerequisites: Algebra I and Geometry
Algebra II teaches advanced algebra concepts including first-degree equations and inequalities, polynomial and radical equations and inequalities, and many include concepts such as advanced functions and relations, discrete mathematics, and an introduction to trigonometry.
Calculus
- Grades 11-12
- Length of Course: 1 year
- Prerequisite: Advance Math
Calculus is a course that introduces topics like Limits, Derivatives and their laws, Trapezoidal Rule, Simpson's Rule, Integration of Functions, U-substitution, Planer Areas, Volumes by rotations, Disc methods of Integration, Washer method of Integration, Arc Length, Surface Area and Differential Equations.
